The purpose of Sonoma County Housing Authority program is to provide rental assistance to very low-income families and individuals to enable them to rent decent, safe and affordable housing.

Very low income persons and/or families are defined as having incomes at or below 50 percent of the area median income as established by the Department of Housing and Urban development.
