Housing strives to provide safe, attractive, and affordable housing through a number of programs and services that benefit both homeowners and tenants.
The Housing Division promotes an affordable, sustainable and livable community by coordinating a number of functions, including: providing financing for the development of affordable housing for renters and owners, in partnership with for-profit and nonprofit developers; and administering the homeowner rehabilitation and lead hazard abatement programs. This Division also manages the Inclusionary Housing Program, and provides administrative support to the Condominium Review Board, Fair Housing Commission, Affordable Housing Trust Fund, Homelessness Prevention & Rapid Rehousing Program, and the HUD McKinney-Vento Continuum of Care Program. The Housing Division provides referrals to resources within the community for various housing related needs, including landlord-tenant mediation services and foreclosure prevention. Operating hours:monday, tuesday, wednesday:8:30 a.m. -- 4:30 P.M. Thursday:8:30 a.m. -- 7:30 P.M. Friday:8:30 a.m. -- 12:30 P.M.
