Last-Modified: 2024-04-17 02:31:23Temporary Financial Assistance - The American Legion Department of Arizona offers assistance through their Temporary Financial Assistance Program.
This program is available to those that qualify and are approved. The program is administered through the National Office however applicants are screened on a local or Post level. The applicants needs are investigated fully before approval is given.
Eligible applicants are minor children whose biological parent, or legal guardian, is a veteran and is, or would have been, eligible for American Legion membership. Legion membership is not required however.
Applicants 18-20 years old will also be considered if a current disability requires special schooling or indefinite in-home care, or they are enrolled in an approved high school and are unmarried. Legion membership eligibility requires the parent or guardian must have served at least one day of active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States.

need help pay rent on ssi for me and my oldest child no car just moved to arizona

I e mailed earlier and I am in desperate need of some help with rent I can pay it back when the training I am in starts to pay
I would like to know what documents are needed to get assistance for help with paying Rents and Utilities. I lost my job and need help until i get back on my feet. if i came in on Monday how soon can the pay rent? if I do qualify?
I lost my job due to Corona Virus pandemic. I am scared and and I am not sure how soon I can and will start working again. I am very disturbed by this event and I am taking all safety measures as explained in the news and by government request and such. I need help with rent and utilities I have half of this months rent, the other half I'm not sure of. If you have any means of helping with rent and or utilities it would be greatly appreciated and I wouldn't hesitate to help in other means necessary. I plan on continuing to self distance myself from the world and in Hope's to evolve as a person through and from the internet. Please let me know if you can help me. Warmest Regards, Marianne Duffy
