To Qualify You must have a medical diagnosis stating you are disabled (unable to work) due to HIV or AIDS. You must be a resident of San Francisco. Your total monthly income must be $1,471 or less (for one person).Upon completion of your file, you are eligible to receive up to $500 for the first year. This money may be used to pay for: Rent Utilities Phone Medical Insurance premiums Medical Expenses not covered by insurance Pre-arranged funeral costs Immigration legal feesNOTE: Payment is ONLY to the actual provider of goods or service (vendor), never to the client. RentThey will pay only the actual owner the property, not friends or roommates. You will need a copy of the lease showing your name, address, rental amount, the owner's name, owner's address, and the signatures of both parties. I'm homeless now and don't have any money at all, I would like to know if I can apply for the 500$ emergency fund to be able to pay for a place to stay for time the that would cover me to get a bed in cheap hotel for now. I bean living in SF for over 20 but unfortunately I lost my place 2 years ago. I have my Cali I'd with me. not much else right now.
