Calvert County Department of Social Services, Emergency Assistance to Families with Children- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Assistance will be considered for families with children under the age of 21 with the following needs or situations:

Court-ordered evictionForeclosureUtility cut-offBurial assistance- funeral expenses of deceased recipientsRequirements: Must have been receiving Foster Care, TCA,TDAP, or SSI.

This program does not cover funds for security deposit or first month's rent. An EAFC may also considered for those who have experienced an official disaster, e.g. hurricane, flood, or fire.

I heard there was still a waiting list for housing and I am a single mother with a child not even two yet currently on tca. They said you cant even sign up there not accepting applications.
