Catholic Charities offers a wide variety of assistance programs available to those in need. Including:
Community food project
Emergency shelter
Food pantries
Housing programs
Prescription assistance
Rent and utilities assistance
Senior services
SNAP/Nutrition outreach and education
Victim services
Youth services
The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) assists lower-income individuals and families with heating costs. HEAP grants vary depending on household income, family size, type of heat, presence of children under 6, adults aged 60 or over and disabled individuals. Both renters and home owners can be eligible for assistance. During the HEAP season (which begins Nov. 16, 2015) you can access HEAP applications on line.
