Catholic Charities offers a wide variety of assistance programs available to those in need. Including:



Community food project

Emergency shelter

Food pantries

Housing programs

Prescription assistance

Rent and utilities assistance

Senior services

SNAP/Nutrition outreach and education

Victim services

Youth services



The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) assists lower-income individuals and families with heating costs. HEAP grants vary depending on household income, family size, type of heat, presence of children under 6, adults aged 60 or over and disabled individuals. Both renters and home owners can be eligible for assistance. During the HEAP season (which begins Nov. 16, 2015) you can access HEAP applications on line.

Am collecting 119.00 a week unemployment. My rent is 600.00 plus nyseg and water .. I really need help with rent and utilities. Or just rent.. there is just my son and I and I have applied every where for work
