The major housing programs currently managed by this division include programs funded by the State Housing Initiatives Program (SHIP), the Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), which offer loans and/or grants to prospective homebuyers, homeowners or developers for the purchase, rehabilitation or construction of new affordable housing units.
Certain eligibility requirements and restrictions apply.
There may be waiting lists for some of these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants based on the size of or length of wait on the lists. Each of these programs has a separate set of eligibility requirements that applicants must meet to receive assistance. Please contact them directly for more detailed information.
Mission Statement: Its mission is to assist in creating a viable urban community for residents of our City while reducing poverty, embracing diversity, engaging in economic development activities, and improving the overall quality of life.

Hi like to know do you program give out homeless appoved letter I'm trying to get deposit/rent assistance I have been approved by section 8 to a appointment but I need assistance with this so I can move in next month I when to Joseph Cable and they said that I needed this letter before I can get help so can you help me with this it's my first time section 8 I'm 63yrs on disability I needed help thank you.
