Services are available to assist Denver County residents that are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Applicants must show proof that they have resided in Denver County for the past 30 days.

Services included:

Eviction assistanceDepositFirst months' rent and mortgage Emergency shelter and respite Eviction assistance, deposit, first month's rent and mortgage programs can help individuals and families who have a current verifiable emergency preventing them from paying their mortgage/rent if the person(s) are able to demonstrate the ability to maintain the unit.

Emergency shelter can assist homeless families, single women, those in need of respite (for homeless clients discharged from a specific hospital when a referral is issued by a social worker or doctor) and people with disabilities by securing an emergency bed or room through various shelter programs. Also offers a variety of other programs.

Is there more than a 30-60 day waiting list to receive help with apt rentals.

i believe tjat if you have a court date or you have been served with a notice they canhelpbut if they dont have the funds then they will send uou to another sercvice there are more than just one place for assistance

Need help with deposit and first months rent. I've already received 2nd notice demand for rent. The cost to move would be a total of 1460.00 I can afford to pay my rent and utilities monthly upon moving into unit. Thank you

Need help family of 4 with kids no help at all i never ask for help like this unless its an emergency this us and its getting worse especially me having epilepsy and my wife not being able to work we cant even have a Xmas.
