Low Income Home Energy Assistance:
Assistance on a one-time basis to low income families to meet heating and cooling energy costs and to prevent energy from being terminated in health crisis situations. Funds are paid directly to utility companies and vendors.

Operation Warm:
A limited area energy program that provides assistance on a one time basis to persons who are elderly, handicapped, or in health crisis situations. Funding is provided by residents of Morgan and Lawrence counties through donation of $1.00 or more above their monthly bills. For more information contact Cindy Anderson at 256-355-7843.

Operation SHARE:
Operation SHARE is a limited area energy program created by the Cullman Power Board and the Cullman Electric Cooperative, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, that provides energy assistance to persons in the Cullman Power Board and the Cullman Electric Cooperative service area who are elderly, disabled, or needy.
Funding is provided by Cullman Power Board and the Cullman Electric Cooperative service area residents that designate and contribute $1, $2 or $5 each month on their electric bill.

FEMA Emergency Food & Shelter:
Morgan County Food and/or mortgage/rent assistance to individuals in Morgan County who at risk of becoming homeless because of a mortgage foreclosure or eviction notice. Alabama Charitable Trust Fund Utility Assistance:
The nonprofit Alabama Business Charitable Trust Fund Trust was created by Alabama Power in 1992 to supplement other energy assistance efforts. The Trust works with community action agencies to help cover heating and cooling costs of low-income families and those struggling with temporary financial problems.
