Last-Modified: 2024-04-08 03:12:53CAASTLC has comprehensive housing assistance programs which includes Home Ownership, Housing Counseling, and Rent/Mortgage Assistance.
All services offered at CAASTLC start with a FamilyIntake, Assessment and Referral.
Most of the programs that CAASTLC provides are targeted for low-income county residents. Income eligibility varies slightly for some programs.
Rent/Mortgage Assistance is available on a limited basis when funding is available. Assistance is available for rent or mortgage payments. I live in a home, that was being paid by a program til January 2020. I was out of work all last year w/ high risk pregnancy. The coronavirus came into play just as I started job searching. Since I moved here in 2015, I haven’t been able to pay my utilities now for two months In a row, why is the county not taking applications for section 8? I’ve wanted this since 2015, but always told their not taking applications, also they never return calls. Of course my landlord won’t take section 8, but surely I could find a place with that help.
