About Community Action Program for Central Arkansas

Persons applying for assistance must call 501-358-8653 between the hours of 8 am and 10 am on the first business day of the month. Calls will not be accepted once funds are depleted for the month.
Requirements:
Applicants must be at or below the 125% Federal Poverty guidelines Must have not received rental assistance during the previous 12 months Must not have an open warrant for arrest Must provide lease agreement Hotel Stay assistance can provide 3 night motel stay for eligible applicants who are homeless or without shelter, when funds are available. Applicants can contact 501-329-3891 to check on availability.

I've used this service before.More Than 1000 No The staff was friendly. I waited more than 24 hours .
I need help so badly, but my landlord never supplies me a receipt. What can I do?

I have been trying to get help and no one answers or calls me back
I called on the first of this month of December and left a message to receive no response back. I followed up yesterday and which was the second and no one answered the phone I called again today on the third and no one answered the phone. I am a single mother with no income. I am sick. I need assistance with $193 so that I can pay my rent by the 5th.
