The Dartmouth Housing Authority maintains 197 Housing Choice vouchers.



These vouchers can be used anywhere in the United States.



Income Limits:

One person: $20,900

Two persons: $23,850

Three persons: $26,850

Four persons: $29,800

Five persons: $32,200

Six persons: $34,600



Rent is based on 30% of net income, not to exceed 40%.



Payment standards and Fair Market Rents (FMR) can be obtained by calling the Section 8 office of the housing authority.



They do not have public family housing.
Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Dartmouth Housing Authority to provide safe, sanitary and affordable housing to both the elderly and non-elderly disabled. We have priorities and preference ratings; they being elderly veteran residents, non-elderly veteran residents, elderly non-veteran residents, non-elderly non-veteran disabled residents, elderly non-residents, and lastly, non-elderly non-residents. Rent is based on income and is charged at 30% of net income.

Help Me to get apartment to live in. I’m 54 year old woman been homeless since August 2019. My landlord wanted to sell so I had to leave I get SSI every month but it’s not enough for rent I have called LHA HA on waiting lists for years so many forms I filled no luck as of yet. I didn’t know this page existed. I need help in getting into my own apartment Then I could work on getting a part time job.
