The Key West/Monroe County Housing Authority administers federal, state and local affordable workforce housing programs for very low to moderate income families in the community by a means of the Housing Choice Voucher Program- Section 8, public housing, and affordable housing. The properties are located throughout Key West and offer something for everyone, from families with children to seniors.
These programs each have their own set of eligibility requirements that applicants must meet. There may be waiting lists for these programs and at times the lists may close to new applicants based on the size of and length of wait on the lists.
