Need Help!!! Haven’t worked in over 3 months, not getting enough steady flow of money from unemployment. Haven’t received a stimulus check either. The money I have received I’ve paid 2 months of rent and bills...hardly enough money for food for my family. Have a wife who has also lost her job to COVID 19, and a 10yr old Lil girl. Looking for help in any way possible! I’ll cross my fingers and count my blessings! God bless sincerely Miguel

I am in need of assistance with back rent charges as we have been served with a payment demand letter and appears the landlord is moving forward with eviction. We suffered financial ruin during COVID-19 as our lodging cost was to be included in our compensation package with our previous client however the market never rebounded to where we could get back to the financial arrangement initially agreed to as well as had our weekly pay ended so only relying on the $250/bi-weekly payment for PUA benefits through DEO. Any guidance you can provide on how best to proceed or options where we may seek donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and assistance in this matter.

The manager that work there give people a hard time to get approved, she will deny you so fast after bringing all the forms they need.

I was aware of the emergency housing vouchers last week but when I called the Broward housing authority no one seemed to know about as well as CareResource or other places that I called. Finally Broward homeless found out what I was speaking about. I then spoke to Care Resources and I explained that they would be distributed through Broward housing. I was then called back and Care Resources took my information and told me to wait for someone to call me back and have the necessary documents. They told me that they had put in a referral for me. But I never filled out an application because the Housing authority was having a meeting about this on the following Monday. Now I don't know if I have a complete referral in. No one at Broward Housing authority can tell me for sure and now every time I call Care Resources it states thank you for calling and hangs up. I have an eviction notice as well as Tamarac Housing authority has deemed the property unsafe.
