Gateway House provides a comfortable, family-oriented home setting for individuals and families in need of a place to stay. Residents receive shelter, food, personal care and hygiene items as well as case management, counseling, advocacy, referral services and assistance in securing long-term housing.
They offer a Transitional Housing Program for homeless shelter residents. In addition to the services mentioned above, this program offers in-house training in the areas of parenting skills, job interview skills, resume assistance, money management and budgeting.

Mission Statement: The Gateway Homeless Coalition, Inc. (GHC) is a private, nonprofit organization which provides shelter and supportive services for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness in the Kentucky Counties of Bath, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan, and Rowan.
We acknowledge the impact of homelessness on individuals and families and recognize the importance of stable housing as a basic human need. We provide a supportive atmosphere in which persons can rebuild their lives as they seek safe, secure housing.
