About Greenville Housing Fund

Last-Modified: 2024-02-07 20:47:07

GOALS represents the framework by which CommunityWorks creates pathways for underserved families and communities with access to financial coaching, small dollar consumer loans, small business loans, community loans, and asset building programs- resources that are often unavailable to low-wealth families from mainstream financial institutions. These pathways are then connected to create an infrastructure to support an opportunity economy and help families achieve their goals.

We are seniors in dire need of rent assistance. My husband had to retire early at 62 because of RA and I draw disability.. Our son lost his life at 29 because of a careless driver. We had to pay his final expenses and that took a lot of our money, also helping a little with his 2 small children.

I’m currently not working and haven’t worked in over 10years but I’m trying to get on SSI disability . Currently living with my boyfriend whom is receiving SSI . And living in a camper that has no water running to it and it’s on his parents property which they said we had to move and the camper out in about a week or so . We have nothing to do any of that ! My question is there anyway maybe I/or we could get some type of funding for section8 or some type of grant because at some point when I am living in a nicer home I want to get my disabled son back from his dad whom won’t let me see him when we have joint custody. Could you PLEASE help stir me in the right direction to go first with my issue !
