Emergency Rental Assistance Program. For more information and to apply, go to www.dauphincounty.org/rentutilityassist or call 2-1-1. If you need to pick up or submit a paper application rather than submitting online, you can get a copy of the application in the box outside the HELP Ministries entrance at 413 S. 19th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104. Applications can be returned to the mail slot at the HELP Ministries office or mailed to ERAP, c/o HELP Ministries, 413 S. 19th St., Harrisburg, PA 17104.

To be eligible, households must meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. Qualify for unemployment benefits OR experienced a reduction in income, incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardship due directly or indirectly to COVID-19 that threaten the households ability to pay the costs of the rental property when due; AND

2. Demonstrate a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability, which may include past due rent and utility notices and eviction notices; AND

3. Must be at 80% Area Median Income or below.

Is the Ministry for only certain counties? I was evicted for Wayne County always resided in Lackawanna, but being homeless im hotel hopping paying weekly.

I'm disabled , I'm on a fixed income of 749$ n my rent is 650$. I barely have any other $$ for the other things I need like toilet paper, laundry detergent, n definitely don't have the money to pay my electric bill that supplies me with heat.
