Homestretch's mission is to empower low-income homeless families in Northern Virginia to return to stable housing and self-sufficiency by giving them the skills, knowledge and hope they need to become productive participants in their communities.
Homestretch accomplishes this mission by providing families with subsidized housing and support services for up to two years. This long-term approach gives them sufficient time to develop the skills necessary to obtain and, more importantly, maintain permanent housing.
