Center for Prevention of Abuse(Domestic Violence Prevention) Provides temporary housing to those in need who are suffering abuse:Emergency Shelter is available in Peoria and Pekin for individuals:
Fleeing domestic violenceSexual assaultElder abuseCase management, child care, individual counseling/therapy and support groups are provided. Transitional Housing is available for females and their children who are fleeing abusive relationships.
Residents may stay up to two years while receiving case management and therapy. This program is fee based and fees are on a sliding scale. All victim services are free and confidential.
