In coordination with area public and private human services agencies, JIO, through volunteers and a paid part-time professional director, provides crisis relief and ongoing assistance for:

James Island Outreach serves residents of James Island and Folly Beach.
New clients need to bring:
Picture IDProof of residency (example: bill with name and address), Last four numbers of your Social Security number and List of all members in your household along with their birth date and last 4 #s of their Social Security number. Eligibility:
USDA household financial income guidelines.
Mission Statement: Our mission is to ensure that no one on James Island or Folly Beach goes without the food, medications, or information they need. However, the past success of our over twenty-seven-year-old mission is not the focus of this communication. With our eyes on the future we are turning a corner to a more vigorous and progressive ministry to our neighbors in need.
