Through our Emergency Assistance Program (EAP), financial assistance is provided for costs necessary to maintain housing - utility, water, rent, and/or mortgage payments. By assisting individuals and families at the onset of problems, homelessness can be prevented with minimal assistance.
Financial interviews available: Monday- Friday 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. (Times and availability subject to change.)

My daughter got laid off Tuesday, April 28th and her rent is due on the 1st. She already applied for unemployment but still waiting to hear back. What kind of help would be available for her?
Nesesito ayuda con mi renta agua y lo que puedan ayudarme.
I live in asheboro nc and i am in real need help for my rent is there any places that can help out so i don't get put out i've gotten 1652 behind bc my unemployment is cut off i really need the help i just found a job but i do have kids power bill gas, food, diapers and wipes to buy as well including house hold items, been to the community care action place salvation army and they did the lil they could that why i have 1652 left owed for .
Do you offer rent assistance? I have been to several places that were out of funds. We are going to be evicted if I can’t pay soon.
