I'm holding section 8 volchers and am trying to rent a place but they have not started my disability checks yet and I'm having a hard time with application fees and the down payments for the lights the water and deposits and I was just wondering how that worked
I'm on disability. I get 915 a month. I own my trailer. But I pay $185.00 a month lot rent. It is a struggle. I hope I qualify for assistance.
BUCM will only help with out of date food, or nearly out of date, sometimes clothing, but as for helping in a crisis , they won't help...I was homeless waiting on disability to come through and they gave me rotten food, later on after I found a place and disability was approved my landlord wouldn't fix anything and I got illegally evicted and asked for assistance and was told that because I was being evicted no matter if it was illegal or not that they couldn't help financially...then I recently received a call and told them I didn't want their out of date food.
