Need help to find HUD program for emergency housing for myself and family.
I fell behind on my rent due to loss of job will I be able to receive any help? If so what are the requirements?
I just wanted to know if i can get help with rent assistance? I was living with my cousin and we both was paying half on the rent and where i am on SSI Disability he included the bills with the 400 i gave him and the total rent was 800. Sadly he passed away on January 18 2021. We paid our bills for January 2021. And i didnt get my check for this month because my cousin was my Payee and died before he could send some paper out and i had to get another payee. So i am behind for February and March. And i dont know what else to do i mean i dont know when they are giving my check back after i got another Payee and if i can get assistance.
We were living in a home with black mold and have been in the hotel since we need help getting a place.
Could you please let me know how to go about getting rental assistance for me. Thanks and God Bless you
