New Yorkers: Homeless PreventionGrants are made to those with mortgage or rent arrears who are at- risk of losing their homes or being evicted.
As a member of NYCs Emergency Rent Coalition (ERC) we often work collaboratively with other members of the ERC to help package eviction-prevention grants for those with multiple months of rent arrears.
Utility AssistanceGrants are made to those who are facing hardships and therefore unable to pay their utilities, including water, gas and electricity. Summer Camp ScholarshipsGrants are made to help send minor children to licensed summer camp programs.
The Partnership InitiativeIncome Support Services provides cash assistance to help individuals achieve education and employment goals. Launched in 2009, The Partnership Initiative collaborates with community based programs (chosen through an RFP process), to identify those who face barriers on their way towards economic stability.
Income Support Services provides grants to pay for tools, clothing/uniforms, test fees and transportation, thus allowing people to take vital steps toward employment and economic stability.

The rent situation is complicated. Lease started in March 2019 but was not offered lease till September 2019. Fell behind in rent cause I sent the Oct 2019 which they claim to have never receieved hence I thought that if this is hoing to be a game then maybe I should just have them give me a buy-out. Other things transpired imcluding s court appearance. This would better served to have a conversation with somebody to further divulge the entire dilenma.
Peace: I'm in arrears for my rent n utility bill. I'm out of work for medical leave. I was hit by car on May 12, 2020. Job doesn't cover me because I wasn't working. I'm going to therapy and there's no income coming in. Please let me know what you can do for me. Thank you in advance for your help. Peace
