Good morning, I am looking for assistance, in help for my boyfriend, whom currently is going to be evicted today. We have been desperately looking for a job together in these difficult times. He currently resides in a camper rental that is $200.00 each week. He has applied for unemployement but thus morning was directed to come into a career center, even thou the DOL is closed. I realize that this is very short notice, he has been trying so very hard and if evicted he has nowhere to go. I do everything I cant to help him, but I to am going through hard times at my job. I am a 27yro single mother of 2 young son's. I'm about to put my foot down & refuse to being micromanaged and controlled. I am quite capable of making my own way. But by doing this, will result in me and my 2 boys Being homeless. My boys are in school & in the CAPS program. They also receive free and reduced meals at school. I receive food stamps and WIC. We all have Medicaid. I clean houses & I have a bunch of business cards. Bless y'all & thank you-amber&son's

I was just recently diagnosed with Covid and hospitalized. I had several heart attacks due to Covid and am now unable to return to work for a while. I own a hair salon but have had to close down and am in need of some rental and utility assistance for my self and my family. I rent a home here in Duluth Georgia and am 1 month behind on bills.

I have been looking for a place to live. I'm working with another district for over a year now, I was evicted due to the covid-19 concerning the power when Georgia power cut the electricity off without notice. I have been working with not the district in Hall County all the other community organizations and other website on the internet everyone tells me the same thing they don't have phones or I don't qualify, my question to all these organizations the federal government and the government that's why? why do I not qualify? I've been homeless for over a year and no one has offered me anything.

I love the people at The Place, they've helped me with my rent, they've helped me get a bed for my son when I moved here from California and even assisted people that I've brought their who needed their help. I wouldn't have had electricity or running water when I moved into a mobile home without their help, so thank you everyone there at the place and especially Miss Nina.
