St. Joseph's offers emergency assistance to individuals and families in crisis. It is their goal to assist individuals and families in order to prevent homelessness and increase self sufficiency.
They assist with rent evictions, utility disconnects, medications, funeral and emergency medical travel needs.
Social workers on staff meet with individuals/families to engage in an assessment process, with particular attention being paid to current situational and environmental factors. SJSC often coordinates with other agencies in the community and works to refer to appropriate agencies when needed.
Client must provide income and expense for 30 days and social security cards of all family members.
