I just applied to Texas rent relief for the American rescue plan rent and utility assistance. I don't want to get in trouble for Applying at another place for assistance but my gas bill is due and my water is due. I had to take out a title loan several months ago to pay regular bills thinking I would have been back in business but things are very slow to start back up here and work is non existent. I've been paying 240 a month just to keep them from taking my van. None of that goes to the 700 I borrowed. I have heard its taking 6 to 8 weeks to get help from the ARP.
